Puerto Rico Independent Musicians and Artists (PRIMA) Relief Fund

PRIMA is a collective of musicians and artists on a mission to help sustain the independent music community in Puerto Rico after the catastrophic impact of Hurricane Maria.

PRIMA is partnering with NYC-based nonprofit Pregones/Puerto Rican Traveling Theater in its decades-long commitment to collaborate with and support Puerto Rican artists in all disciplines. Our partnership allows your contribution to be 100% tax-deductible.

WHAT: Direct cash support to musicians and artists impacted by Hurricane María in Puerto Rico in the form of emergency micro-grants, and starting June 1, 2018, PRIMA is extending grants for artistic development.

WHY: The aftermath of this disaster on the daily lives and creative practice of artists is complex and lasting. Your individual contribution helps us to continue providing critically needed relief, recovery, and rebulding support.

HOW: We relay 100% of your tax-deductible gift in the form of micro-grants to deserving artists. Give what you can, or consider sponsoring one artist in full for $500. The drive's reach depends on how much money we raise together — help us assist as many of them as possible.
